Smiley is a collaboration between 22 System, a suite of integrated electrical outlets designed by Bocci and India Mahdavi.
Bocci invited India Mahdavi to bring her vivid colors as an addition to the 22 System existing color range: a seamless fusion of design and playfulness, Smiley brings together the bold simplicity of 22 System with the vibrant spirit of India Mahdavi.
The collaboration features a bespoke colourway for the outlet face, elevating everyday connections with a playful approach to form and color. A fluo yellow version of the 22 System power outlet, Smiley adds to the vibration of a room instead of making electrical appliances invisible. This is what India's approach was about: by making the outlets stand out, she made an interesting feature of what is usually concealed.
