Le design pour tous : de Prisunic à Monoprix, une aventure française
On the occasion of the exhibition “Le design pour tous : de Prisunic à Monoprix, une aventure française”, India Mahdavi has drawn a journey at the heart of the museum’s permanent collection as a joyous celebration of pop attitude. Ready-mades act as presentation supports for objects: cash registers and refrigerated cabinets are scattered throughout the permanent collection of the museum; an orange and pink colour chart enables the visitor to distinguish between Prisunic and Monoprix creations respectively.
The story of French popular design is placed on the same level as exceptional and unique design pieces: that is where the “Prisunic” attitude lies.
