At the heart of Ferrari’s heritage

Located in Maranello, the Cavallino trattoria lies at the heart of Ferrari’s industrial territory where its founder, Enzo, laid the foundations of the company. In the region of Emilia-Romagna, that witnessed its inception, Ferrari has revived its family trattoria where excellence and passion meet. For this adventure, Ferrari gathered the chef Massimo Bottura and the architect India Mahdavi.

The Italian trattoria: a universal institution

In a 1950s building, India Mahdavi has celebrated the universal codes of the Italian trattoria. From the entrance, the rooms hinge on a succession of arches from which perspectives emerge and accompany the guests to their table. The floor is draped with checkered terra cotta tiles as a symbol to this soil, dear to Enzo Ferrari. The oak paneling, around which tables and benches stand against, unifies all the spaces. The walls are coated with photographs, posters and other memorabilia that will delight Ferrari enthusiasts.
